No but I did catch a 10 1/2 ft sturgeon on the Columbia river that weighed approx 6-700 lbs...had to let it go...over size.

No, but Ive seen it done and had the urge to try it myself when i was kid but thought better of it, i have caught catfish mainly on a rod and line with chicken livers, although not so much in recent years and on one occasion when i was child on a fly rod but i don't recommend it, give catfish noodling a try but first beware of the dangers, snakes, sharp objects etc.
